The Profile section of the Ryft Portal allows users to manage their account information, including personal details and security settings. This page is essential for maintaining account security and ensuring that user information is up-to-date.
It is accessible by clicking on the user icon located at the top-right corner of the Ryft Portal interface, then selecting Profile from the dropdown menu.
The Profile overview page displays the user's account information, including their name, associated email address and telephone number. It also displays the User ID, which is a unique identifier for the user within the Ryft system, their role in the account and the date when the the user was given access to this account.
An Edit button is available to allow users to update their First Name and Last Name. Clicking this button opens a form where users can enter their new details. Once the changes are made, clicking Save will update the profile information.
The Security Settings section allows users to manage their account security.
Users can change their password by clicking the Change button, which opens a form where they can enter their current password, new password and confirm the new password. After entering the required information, clicking Save will update the password.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to user accounts. When enabled, users will be required to provide a second form of verification in addition to their password when logging in. This can include a code sent to their mobile device or generated by an authenticator app.
A button enables users to change their preferred 2FA method at any time by selecting a different method between SMS or Authenticator App.
Please Note: The 2FA is mandatory for all users for both Sandbox and Production accounts.
