In Ryft, environments are defined as workspaces used to test or deploy software applications. They are essential for developers and businesses to ensure that their applications function correctly before going live.
At Ryft, we provide two primary environments:
- Sandbox: This is a testing environment where developers can experiment with their applications without affecting live data or transactions. It allows for safe testing of features, functionalities, and integrations. Here you can simulate transactions, test payment flows, create fake sub-accounts, test webhooks and ensure everything works as expected.
- Production: This is the live environment where real transactions occur and is used for actual business operations. In this environment, all transactions are processed with real data, and it is crucial to ensure that everything is functioning correctly to avoid any disruptions in service.
Ryft will provide you with access to the Sandbox environment. This allows you to test your integration and ensure everything works as expected before moving to the Production environment. We will generate your Production environment once you are ready to go live.
